Cesar Salad with Cheese Bowl - Microwave Monday
Cesar Salad is one of my favorites. The flavor of the anchovies in the dressing works perfectly with the crisp of the lettuce and the saltiness of the cheese. But this is Culinary playgrounds, so we need to make it special. This is my Cesar salad with cheese bowl.
Ingredients
1 Head Lettuce (Romaine)
2 Tablespoons Cesar Dressing
4 Ounces Parmesan Cheese
1/8 Cup Croutons
Procedure
Line a microwave safe plate with parchment paper. With a microplane, shred all the cheese to cover the whole plate. Microwave for 2 minutes.
While it is in the microwave, take two identical bowls. Also, rip a piece of parchment paper and place under one of the bowls.
As soon as the microwave dings, we need to form the bowl. Take the parchment out with the cheese in and place on one of the bowls. Put the other piece of parchment on top then the other bowl. Push the bowls together, as if you are stacking them, and hold clamped together for at least 15 seconds. Remove it from the bowls and remove the parchment.
Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Toss in another bowl with the croutons and Cesar dressing. Place in cheese bowl.
Enjoy!
